Message from Pastor Gene 5-8-20
Dear MABC family,
I trust this email finds you all well physically and growing in grace spiritually! Truly, God is using these unprecedented times as an instrument to draw us closer to Him and increase our faith! May He give us grace to experience that…and say YES! to Him. To this end goal of drawing close and growing in our faith toward Him, we as an elder board have decided to open up corporate worship at MABC again! This decision has come after much prayer, discussion and thoughtful evaluation of all the contingencies we can think of, some of which are:
-
Our God- given right to assemble for worship.
-
The U.S. AND Michigan Constitutions which acknowledge that right.
-
All we have learned and will apply toward the safety of our members (i.e. social distancing, masks worn by those who would like to, in –depth cleaning of our facility, hand sanitizer placed throughout the building, avoid greeting time at the start of the service, placing an “offering box” in the entry way for giving-(no passing of the plate!) and arranging of chairs in such a way as to allow for individuals, couples or families to be together yet “distanced” for safety.)
I, as pastor, and we as elders, are open for any questions/concerns you may have. We understand there are many different views on many different issues related to this pandemic. As is ALWAYS the case, each individual is free in Christ to make
his/her decision as to when and how they wish to join us for worship. Some, no doubt, may choose to stay home because of age and/or health related issues. We completely understand! We are NEVER supposed to be driven to worship corporately out of guilt or condemnation about what others may think. As the Holy Spirit leads, and applying Biblical truth we invite you to worship. Apply prayerfully these same principles, if you decide to stay home!
To that end, we are genuinely excited to worship corporately once again beginning Sunday, May 17th at 10:30 a.m.!

"If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin."
